First it belonged to the sea. We evolved & climbed out. A LOT of years later our 1st civilization Mesopotamia. Wars & populations grew, until there is no more land to conquer. Today – we have a plutocracy, where a handful of people control most the wealth. And two monopolies have control, in our largest asset group. How did we get here? Like a fish that swims in a world of opinions, most people are not even aware that these monopolies. I live in a world or facts & data. I think differently. I am different. So let me tell you a story on how we got here.
Everybody knows the story of one-bad-apple. Just one bad apple can turn an entire bushel of apples into waste. The same is true of a portfolio of RE investments. If just one “goes bad” & declines in 40-70%, then you can lose your entire portfolio & nest egg. I am many investors & builders know this all too well. (1:30)

Like Apple, & entrepreneurs, & startup founders. I THINK DIFFERENTLY! According to a recent article on Forbes, strong entrepreneurs need to Avoid: Negativity, Blaming Others, and Distractions. But avoidance alone does not cause change. The 2 monopolies will not change. Why should any monopoly that makes billions every year, make a better & cheaper product or service that cannabises their monopoly? They will never do it. Never. Never. NEVER. In conclusion, I’m not going to address the issues of the monopoly of the lock box key. I am going to challenge the 2nd monopoly in GIS which is ESRI & their 90% market dominance in the US market. Today, I am looking for partners, to make strong inroads into the largest asset class in the US – RE & mortgage banking. Who knows what the future holds….in any case, I hope it is a GREAT story.
